Science Lab

Recently, the fourth graders conducted a lab experimenting with matter.  They used a pan balance and gram cubes to measure the mass of various classroom objects.  Additionally, they observed different ways to sort their objects.  It was weigh fun!!!!  :)

Pre Valentine's Day Fun!

The fourth graders excitedly create their Valentine's "mailboxes" to receive Valentines from classmates. We love because God first loved us!!!

Service at Briarwood Nursing Home.

The fourth graders perform their skit "The Big Red Box" for the residents of Briarwood Nursing Home.  It is hard to say who had more fun, the residents or the students!  We enjoyed sharing God's word with everyone.

Technology At Work!

The Fourth graders use iPads and classroom computers to conduct further research for their nonfiction book reports.  Students LOVE using technology!!

Dissecting Flowers!

Why just look at the inside of a flower in our workbook??  Let's dissect some flowers.  The fourth grade botantists dissected flowers to discover what each part of a flower looks like.  They followed the diagram in their workbook and located all the flowers reproductive parts.  They even enjoyed the benefit of the lovely flower aroma.

iFun!!!!

The fourth grade students recently took advantage of our new iPad cart to review for their science test.  We played a race with answers from the study guide.  Everyone won since they were very well prepared for their science test.  We love technology!!!!!
